Jetex 350 kit

Jetex 350 fuel

With a duration of 36 seconds and up to 4 oz thrust, this motor was comparable with 0.5 cc diesel and at 70 mph equivalent to a 1 cc engine. There was no appreciable delay between charges but a slight surge occurred at the beginning of the run.

It was a large motor by Jetex standards, and Phil Smith (Veron’s designer) even reckoned that a longer version would have possibilities for control line flying.

Jetex Spacemaster 600A

Above: In a tribute to the power of the Jetex 350, it was marketed in the USA as the Spacemaster 600A.

Jetex 350 tool

Above: The Jetex 350 kit included this formidable tool that was used to compress and release the five substantial springs which held on the end cap, but which also allowed it to lift in the event of a dangerous build-up of excess pressure.
